Paul LaVenture, a Prize-winning photographer since 1970, started out by going door-to-door taking photographs of children and their families in their home, and since, has secured the memories of over a thousand portrait, wedding, and family events.

After a rewarding career in the high-tech world he focused on his passion of photography and, in 1992, opened a studio in the historic Northworks factory building located in Worcester. Subsequently, a custom picture framing section was added to compliment his photography business.

Paul photographs people and pets on location or in the studio, and also frames the portraits to make it a convienient, one-stop experience for his clients.

He was the official photographer for the Chamber of Commerce for several years in the 90's where he took their business portraits and captured a multitude of functions, including the annual Business Expo. Some of the keynote speakers photographed were Phil Donahue, Chris Wallace, Jane Bryant Quinn, Stuart Varney, Bob Dole, and Andy Rooney. Today he is their photographer once again.

He was also the official photographer for radio station WXLO, and a contributing photographer for InCity Times and the Community Advocate.

A teacher of photography to groups or individuals, Paul has taught (inspired greatness) at Worcester Technical Institute, and as part of Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at WPI.

Most recently, two of Paul's photographs were exhibited at Union Station in Worcester, where only 50 photographs out of 136 were chosen by the jury.

Professionally recognized by his peers in the Professional Photographer's Association of Massachusetts, he has received the prestigious "Court of Honor" award for photo of the year.
